A democracy only works if people are heard. Too often politicians use their power unilaterally, without consulting the community. In the 32nd ward, our voices have gone unheard for too long — and it’s time for a change. No longer can we have an appointment process that is dictated by the few – we need a transparent, and participatory system where neighbors have the power to impact appointments.
